Steve Green is Head of Central Data Services, Innovation, Strategy and Competition Division at the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). His department looks after all data management and collection activities for the FCA, as well as running a number of central data advisory, analysis and insight functions. Steve is also the Accountable Executive in charge of the FCA’s Data Strategy implementation, transforming the way the FCA exploits its’ data and covering the replacement of all key data platforms. Prior to joining the FCA, Steve worked on implementing large scale technology driven change across a variety of businesses.

Karim Hajjaji

Global Chief Operating Officer, Global Corporate Banking


Karim Hajjaji has an extensive experience and expertise in the financial and banking industry and had held executive roles in Europe, Asia and United States.

He is currently the Global Chief Operating Officer and member of the Executive Committee of Santander Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB). Karim is also Chairman or Board Member of different companies of the Group. He is in charge to support the worldwide growth (products and geographies) of the CIB businesses and to lead its transformation (digital and innovation).

Formerly, Karim was the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Société Générale Investment Services covering Brokerage, Asset Management, Private Banking and Securities Services. Previously he was Chief Financial Officer and a member of the Executive Committee of SG Americas covering Corporate and Investment Banking in USA, Canada and Latin Americas.

Karim started his career in consulting, quantitative research and capital market activities. He is graduated in Engineering and Economics from ENSAE (France).

Karim is currently living in London. He is passionate about painting, poetry and philosophy. He is involved in social accomplishments and entrepreneurship mentoring particularly in his country of origin, Tunisia.

Olga Petrenko

Team Leader, Market Data Policy Team, Markets Department

European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA)

Olga Petrenko is the Team Leader within the Market Data Policy Team at the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA). She is involved in ESMA work on defining reporting requirements that stem from European regulatory regimes – EMIR, MiFID II/MiFIR, MAR and SFTR – in relation to various types of market data. More specifically, her current tasks focus ESMA implementing measures on trades, transactions, order book, instrument reference data and securities financing transactions reporting.

Ms. Petrenko joined CESR (predecessor of ESMA) in March 2009 from the Lithuanian Securities Commission where she held the position of the Head of the Market Monitoring Division.
Ms. Petrenko received a Master’s Degree in Financial Markets from the Mykolas Romeris University in Vilnius, Lithuania and qualifications in Economics and Applied Informatics from the Vytautas Magnus University in Kaunas, Lithuania.

Hinesh Kalian is Head of Implementation and Data Science at Man AHL (‘AHL’). He is responsible for the AHL quantitative trading system, research and portfolio implementation, data management and data science. Hinesh has over 15 years experience in the Financial Markets (including 6 years at JP Morgan and 10 years at AHL). Hinesh holds an MSc in Finance from the University of London.
